Santa Fe Trail,
Oil, 2008.

Inspired by a painting from an art book, but turned out to be quite different.

The pallet design allowed the loads to be stacked uniformly therefore leading to the development of the electric forklift. The lifting capacities these machines possess is huge and overwhelming, such that one might feel giddy or faint when seeing all the weight go up to an unbelievable height. However, since buying one new will set a company back many thousands of pounds, it is often a case that the right one is simply out of any realistic price range. It was in 1920 that the fork lift trucks that carry the idea of the actual lift trucks that we use today were manufactured by Yale & Towne Manufacturing in the United States. Today, different companies manufacture fork lift trucks, and there are different types and forms of these trucks suitable for various purposes. If the earlier trucks couldnt reach greater heights the ones that were developed later covered that need as well.
